Automations Maintenance Manager

We, on behalf of our partners, are seeking a results-driven Automations Maintenance Manager to lead a team of talented team of automation engineers. This high-impactful role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise, focusing on PLC systems, Motion Control, Operational Technology (OT), cybersecurity, and digitization.

Mission:

As an Automation Maintenance Manager, you will lead and inspire a high-performing team of automation engineers to drive innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence. By leveraging expertise in PLC systems, motion control, OT frameworks, and cybersecurity, you will ensure the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies while fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. With a strategic focus on digitization and organizational transformation, you will aim to align technical initiatives with business objectives, delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Strategy: Provide clear direction and strategic vision for the Automation Engineering & OT team, aligning with company objectives.
  • Manpower Planning: Manage team capacity, recruitment, and workforce planning to support business growth and adaptability.
  • Technical Oversight: Supervise and optimize the deployment of PLCs, motion control, OT systems, and cybersecurity measures.
  • Mentoring and Development: Foster a learning culture, coaching team members for professional growth and excellence.
  • Organizational Redesign: Evaluate and implement structural improvements to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
  • Strategic Digitization: Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize processes and improve operational performance.
  • Performance Management: Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables while maintaining team focus under high-pressure conditions.

Requirements

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years in automation or OT roles, including 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, motion control, OT frameworks, and digitization projects.
  • Expertise in OT cybersecurity practices.
  • Being a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
