Automation QA Engineer

TLDR

Build and maintain a robust test automation framework for AdTech web applications while ensuring quality through various testing activities and CI/CD integration.

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to build and maintain a test automation framework for our AdTech web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, write, and develop test scenarios.
  • Work closely with product team members, participating in sprint ceremonies and feature refinement.
  • Deep-dive into the product domain through general testing activities — manual exploratory testing, regression execution, and domain knowledge building alongside automation work.
  • Automate existing regression test scenarios, converting manual checklists into reliable, maintainable E2E test suites.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth automation integration, quality gates, and efficient deployment processes.
  • Contribute to test documentation and maintain test coverage visibility.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve testing processes.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in test automation for web applications.
  • Experience building a robust test automation solution from scratch.
  • Proficiency in any programming language (TypeScript highly desirable) with a solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with modern E2E testing tools such as Playwright.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with test reporting tools.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • SQL experience and working with databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Experience in microservices environments.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization concepts.
  • Experience with Java.
  • Background in AdTech domain.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms.
