Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer who is comfortable owning quality end-to-end — from manual testing to building automation from scratch.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks from the ground up
• Perform manual testing when automation is not suitable
• Define test strategies, test cases, and test data
• Automate API, backend, and (if applicable) UI tests
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product owners
• Take responsibility for quality, not just test execution

Requirements

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in both manual and automated testing
• Proven ability to create automation frameworks from scratch
• Solid programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST tools)
• Good understanding of test design, QA processes, and agile teams
• Independent, structured, and proactive mindset
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud environments and microservices
• Performance or security testing experience
• Experience mentoring or setting QA standards
