We are looking for an Automation Engineer who combines a QA testing mindset with strong infrastructure knowledge. You will design and execute automated test cases across mobile, firmware, backend, and streaming. While also evolving our automation infrastructure, frameworks and tooling. You will design scalable, maintainable, and reusable systems that enable QA and developers to build automation faster. This role is about expanding automation coverage while ensuring our infrastructure and pipelines remain scalable and efficient.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, document, and implement automated test cases with strong QA thinking (functional, regression, integration).
• Design and maintain infrastructure (e.g., POM, service harnesses) for scalable test automation.
• Build utilities and pipelines that accelerate development and testing, integrated into CI/CD.
• Partner with QA peers to design test plans and identify high-value coverage for automation.
• Partner with mobile, firmware, and backend teams to integrate automation into the development cycle and ensure seamless testing across components and end-to-end coverage.
• Focus on automation for streaming quality and connectivity: Wi-Fi pairing, drop/reconnect, and network stability.

Who You Are:

• 3+ years in Mobile / IOT devices automation development, combining test design and execution with infrastructure design.
• Strong coding skills in Python (preferred) or similar.
• Hands-on experience designing Page Object Model (POM) frameworks and reusable patterns.
• Experience extending or building frameworks (Appium, Pytest, etc.).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and device farm/cloud execution platforms.
• Experience with QA testing: writing test cases, designing coverage, thinking like a tester.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, able to design unique solutions to testing challenges.
• Advantage: knowledge of streaming protocols, networking, or embedded systems.
