Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Electrical Engineer/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), specifically in Ladder Logic programming. Additional experience with C++ programming is a plus. This role involves designing, developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated control systems to optimize manufacturing and industrial processes.
Responsibilities:
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems using Ladder Logic.
Develop and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Perform electrical troubleshooting and maintenance on automation equipment.
Integrate control systems with various industrial components such as sensors, actuators, and HMIs.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure optimal system performance.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper operation.
Maintain and update technical documentation, manuals, and software backups.
Provide training and support to maintenance and operations personnel.
Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices in automation and controls.
