Automation Development Engineer

1. Lead the design and implementation of internal logistics automation systems for semiconductor Backend industry , including but not limited to AGV, OHT, and Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (AS/RS);
2. Drive automation equipment retrofitting and upgrades to improve system stability and material handling efficiency;
3. Manage end-to-end automation projects, including requirement analysis, solution design, vendor evaluation, implementation, and final acceptance;
4. Coordinate and manage multiple automation equipment vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery;
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Process, IT, Equipment, etc.) to integrate automation systems with MES/WMS and other factory systems;
6. Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously optimize logistics automation solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Automation, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or related fields;
• 8+ years of experience in logistics automation system design and implementation, preferably in the semiconductor industry;
• Proficient in AGV, OHT, stacker cranes, conveyors, AS/RS, and other automation equipment and their system integration;
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills;
• PMP certification and familiarity with SEMI standards (e.g., SEMI E84/E87) are preferred
• Semiconductor background is preferred
