Automation consultant with AccelQ (Local Needed)

The Automation Consultant will work with clients to analyze their automation needs and implement solutions using AccelQ, a leading automation testing tool. This role requires deep technical expertise in automation frameworks, the ability to interact with clients, and a knack for understanding complex testing environments. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation tests and frameworks, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the testing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting as necessary.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to gather requirements and analyze their automation needs.
• Design and implement automation testing solutions using AccelQ.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Provide training and support to clients on using AccelQ effectively.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate automation into the testing lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation testing.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in automation and software testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing and consulting roles.
• Proficiency with AccelQ testing tool and an understanding of its capabilities.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test design, and test automation strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Local candidates preferred as travel to client locations may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile teams.
• Previous experience in a consulting role is a plus.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in Selenium automation
• Hands-on experience with AccelQ
• Good understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
