Autobody Parts Manager

CSN Dayton (1960 Dayton Street) has a unique opportunity for an Autobody Parts Manager (60020) to join the team in Kelowna, BC. In this role you will help support our automotive parts department. Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily release meetings and be prepared to provide status on all parts/sublet issues.
  • Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or of departments in such establishments.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
  • Prepare all parts orders upon receipt of repair plan.
  • Ensure that all insurance policies regarding OEM, aftermarket and used parts are followed.
  • Receive, unpackaged and check all incoming parts.
  • Mirror incoming parts to the on the parts carts.
  • Place new parts on parts cart and discard unnecessary parts.
  • Bring parts carts to stalls when needed.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
  • Other duties as required by Location Manager

Requirements

  • Candidates with automotive parts experience will be given priority but more than willing to train the right candidate.
  • Red Seal Parts Certification or working towards.
  • Previous customer service/administrative experience is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license mandatory.
