Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in producing top-quality finishes that meet manufacturer standards and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

· Prepare vehicle surfaces for refinishing, including sanding, masking, and priming

· Mix, match, and apply paint using waterborne paint systems for precise color accuracy

· Perform refinishing work in accordance with OEM repair requirements

· Ensure paint jobs meet quality, safety, and durability standards

· Maintain paint booth, tools, and equipment in clean working condition

· Remove masking and assist with reassembly as needed

· Work collaboratively with body technicians and estimators to maintain workflow

· Follow all safety procedures and contribute to overall shop cleanliness

Requirements

· 3+ years of experience as an Auto Body Painter in a collision repair environment (required)

· Strong knowledge of paint preparation, mixing, and refinishing techniques

· Experience with waterborne paint systems preferred

· High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

· Ability to read and follow work orders and repair plans

· I-CAR, ASE, or manufacturer certifications preferred but not required

· Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team setting
