GEV Blade Team are seeking an experienced Authorising Engineer (AE) to join our expanding operations team.
As part of one of the world’s leading independent blade maintenance providers, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and effective work delivery across multiple turbine platforms and clients.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for:
Reviewing, writing, and amending Approved Written Procedures (AWPs) across multiple turbine types.
Providing technical authorisation and oversight to field teams.
Supporting Statutory Inspections and other turbine works, ensuring compliance with client and statutory requirements.
Working dynamically across multiple clients and turbine technologies, maintaining high standards and best practice.
Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Rope Teams, and HSE to ensure operational excellence.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has proven experience as an Authorising Engineer (AE) within the wind industry.
Possesses multi-OEM knowledge (e.g., Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, Nordex, GE, etc.).
Has hands-on experience with Statutory Inspections and a broad range of turbine works (desirable)
Can confidently manage AWPs, technical authorisations, and competency frameworks.
Is adaptable, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
Holds a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
