The Internal Audit team at Point72 focuses on business value-added services and makes meaningful contributions to the firm’s operational soundness. Audits and consulting engagements are selected based on enterprise risk and/or importance to the firm.
What you’ll do
- Assess business process risks, set audit objectives, and implement and manage automated audit programs
- Analyze data to generate process control insights
- Present analytical findings and audit results in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to help guide action plans
- Leverage technology to improve the efficiency, effectiveness of internal audit functions and enable continuous monitoring
- After two years on the team, there may be internal mobility opportunities to work outside of Internal Audit
- Help build automated audit tests and identify opportunities for process improvement.
What’s required
- 5+ years of professional experience in auditing, consulting with financial services companies and/or related
- Degree in accounting, finance, economics, computer science or engineering
- Experience working with automation tools and software, such as robotic process automation (RPA) platforms, GenAI, data analytics tools, and Tableau
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues throughout the firm as you work with them to map out end-to-end processes and identify controls
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Project management skills to assist with planning and implementing automation initiatives, including time management and organization
- Strong detail orientation to ensure accuracy in data analysis and process automation
- A self-starter who can work independently
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
