The Audit & Financial Operations Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the Audit Operations and Finance Operations teams. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, routine audit processing, customer service support, and maintaining key documentation and tracking systems. The Audit & Financial Operations Assistant helps ensure smooth workflow across audit, finance, and collection processes while supporting various projects and departmental needs.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities


* Responsible for reviewing daily audit QA Reports to ensure accuracy.
* Assists with Nexus related audit workflows, including logging out audits in inventory, re-opening audits, processing ANCs and final audit notice generation.
* Assists with monitoring the audit general mailbox by providing customer service to auditors, agents, insureds and internal business partners regarding audit questions.
* Maintain collection-metric spreadsheets as new accounts are sent to collections, payments are received, or accounts are written off.
* Assist Accounts Payable team with coding credit card travel expenses in Concur and assign invoices as needed. Assist with 1099 and Unclaimed Property processing and provide Treasury Security Team B backup.
* Assist the Loss Sensitive team with deductible and dividend tracking and processing.
* Assist with NCCI Financial calls.
* Assist with Ad-Hoc Audit or Finance projects as needed.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


*  Administrative or customer service experience preferred. Accounting basics and Insurance knowledge is helpful.
*  Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
*  Must have strong organization skills and attention to detail.
*  Must be able to work and succeed in a team-oriented environment.
*  Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.

Working Conditions

*  Normal office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise and temperature variations.

*  Willingness to travel among company sites as needed.

 * Will be required to stand and/or sit for extended periods.

*  Will be required to work with a Video Display Terminal.

 * May be required to do occasional reaching and bending.

*  May be required to occasionally exert physical effort (lifting/carrying) using appropriate equipment if needed.
