The Role

As Attorney Manager – Plaintiff Trial Team Leader, you will oversee and develop a team of trial attorneys while remaining actively involved in litigation. This role is ideal for a seasoned trial lawyer who enjoys mentoring others, driving performance, and shaping case strategy while still practicing law at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of 4–6 trial or litigation attorneys, along with support staff
  • Oversee case strategy from intake through litigation, trial, or resolution
  • Provide hands-on guidance with trial preparation, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and negotiations
  • Ensure consistent quality, accountability, and performance across the team
  • Manage workflow, staffing, and day-to-day case operations
  • Reinforce firm systems, procedures, and performance standards
  • Serve as a visible litigation leader while developing the next generation of firm leadership

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active Texas Bar license (required)
  • 5+ personal injury jury trials, including first-chair experience
  • Deep knowledge of Texas personal injury law and litigation practice
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Prior management or mentoring experience is a plus, but not required

Requirements:

  • TX Bar license
  • 5+ years of personal injury trial experience
  • Willingness to work in-office
  • Relocation support available
