About the Role:
- As an Asst Manager in the Equipment division, he should provide all possible support to the Branches to enable them to use All Service Equipment effectively.
- Innovation of new equipment & tools in services which will help technicians to ease the work and increase productivity.
- Keeping data of all the equipment & tools at branches and helping to scrap the non-working equipment from branches.
- Also provide help to all other divisions like NSD, Purchase Dept., so that branches will get Equipments on time with best possible cost.
Job Responsibilities:
I. Hands on Equipment Training to Technicians:
- Provide regular hands on training to the Technicians , all over India on use, Maintain and repairs on service equipment. Maintain the data.
- Coordinate with Division heads and decide on a training module based on feedback from last training.
- Conduct the training for OE’s , so that they should be aware about the issues of Service Equipment.
- Arrange special Training Batches for selected technicians and provide comprehensive training on Repair / maintenance of Service Equipments , so that every Branch should have 2 such Trained Technicians and every base should have 1 Trained Technician .
- Help PSD to train the PSD Technicians /officers for repairing Foggers.
- Training to PSD customers on usage / maintenance of Fogger on the request of PSD.
II. Repairs :
- Repairs of Drill Machines –Mumbai + other Branches with the help of authorised service centres
- Repairs of Foggers, Sprayers, ULVs, TSPR Pumps, TSS Injector set etc of branches.
- Help PSD to repair foggers supplied to the customers.
- Repairs & Calibration of Termatrac Machine
- Repairs of Fumigation Equipment.
- Also help other divisions for any repair issue/ evaluation of equipments
- Visit the branches on their request and help them in repairing issues .
- Visit branches and base, audit the equipment, list the working, non-working and scraped equipment and guide branches accordingly on inventories.
- III. Innovation in the Service Equipments :
- Search , evaluate & Implement new service equipment, so that branches will get the work faster, effectively and economically.
- Study the problems in existing equipment and suggest the proper solution .
- Look in the Market about the new Equipments and introduce it in our service after proper evaluation i.e. Petrol operated Sprayer to battery operated Sprayer, Battery operated soil auger, concrete breaker etc
- Evaluate new equipments like Battery operated Sprayers and ULVs
- IV. Assist to Branches and other divisions:
- Help branches on the matters related to Service Equipments on the guidelines on
- What equipment to be used
- Where to use
- How to use
- How to maintain
- How to repair
- Spares availability
- V. Data maintenance:
- Should keep the data of all the equipment, and tools at branches and at NSD. Keep the
- minimum inventory at the NSD.
- VI. SHE -
- Build SHE Leadership, SHE Capability & Increase SHE Awareness:
- Key Result Areas:
- Hands on Training for technicians/ OE's
- Look for Availability of Stock I.e Inventory control of Equipments and spare parts.
- Evaluate new equipments and introduce it in the Services
- Search for local spare parts as substitute to import and save on cost and time
- Help Branches / PSD for equipment maintenance
- Innovation in existing equipments
- Help Branches for major jobs with Equipment support
- Help NSD for dispatching right Spare parts in right quantity
- Competencies (Skills essential to the role):
- Knowledge of equipment used in Pest Control.
- Knowledge of computers to keep the data on G-sheet and email correspondence.
Requirements
Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:
- Minimum Qualification - ITI mechanic / Diploma in Mechanic.
- Should have at least 5 years experience on Equipment maintenance
