About the Role
The Associate Technical Delivery Engineer role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust quality assurance process to ensure that the implementation of the customer's event meets or exceeds expectations. This role focuses on the technical validation and the complete lifecycle of mobile app delivery and quality assurance of the configuration workflows. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. They are responsible for establishing and implementing quality assurance processes, mobile app submissions, working with a team of quality assurance professionals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining a comprehensive Services Event quality assurance strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
Uphold quality assurance standards, processes, and methodologies.
Collaborate on a team of quality assurance engineers and analysts.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
Execute and maintain quality assurance processes, including test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
Assist in managing the end-to-end mobile app submission process, including testing, certificates, and submission to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Uphold quality assurance processes consistently across all projects.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to create detailed test plans that address project requirements and objectives.
Execute test plans and test cases to identify defects and ensure event implementation meets quality standards.
Identify opportunities for test automation.
Input on defect tracking and reporting processes to capture, prioritize, and manage software defects.
Work with development teams to facilitate defect resolution and retesting.
Assist in identifying trends, risk assessment, and make data-driven decisions to improve event quality.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the quality assurance team.
Assist in identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices to optimize quality assurance processes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and quality assurance processes.
Ensure that documentation is accessible to team members and stakeholders.
Actively participate in training and professional development to master RainFocus platform standards and mobile submission requirements.
Assist in evaluating and selecting testing tools and software to support the quality assurance process.
Ensure that event quality assurance practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
This is an entry-level role; internships or project work in tech are a plus.
High level of comfort with technology and a strong desire to learn the intricacies of mobile app ecosystems (Apple App Store / Google Play Store).
Meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to follow complex, step-by-step technical processes and checklists without error.
Ability to learn and execute established quality assurance methodologies and testing protocols.
Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to identify when a technical output doesn’t match the intended requirement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting test results and coordinating with the delivery team.
A "hunger" to grow into a technical expert; someone who takes initiative to troubleshoot and research solutions when they encounter a roadblock.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
