Role Summary

The Associate Talent Producer supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of on-air talent across live broadcasts and related content productions. The role operates at the intersection of editorial, production, and talent management, ensuring that on-air contributors are prepared, well-utilized, and aligned with the creative and commercial goals of each production.

The position works closely with producers, directors, studio teams, and external partners to assess talent performance, support casting and assignment decisions, and contribute to storytelling and show flow. Responsibilities span both creative input and operational execution, particularly in live, high-pressure environments.

The role includes on-site production support, talent logistics, rehearsal and show-day coordination, and participation in editorial planning and story development. It also contributes to the development and application of standardized talent processes, best practices, and performance frameworks across projects and clients.

Working hours may include evenings and weekends based on production schedules, with occasional travel to live events or on-location productions.

Requirements

  • Assess strengths, development areas, and on-air effectiveness of talent
  • Support talent assignments and casting decisions across live events and content programming
  • Apply and contribute to performance evaluation and feedback frameworks for talent
  • Support coaching and development of on-air craft, presentation, and brand alignment
  • Contribute to talent-related communications and announcement planning
  • Track and support budgets and costs related to talent in coordination with production leads
  • Attend story meetings, rehearsals, read-throughs, and production run-throughs
  • Manage on-site talent logistics, communications, and day-to-day support during live productions
  • Ensure talent standards and best practices are applied consistently across projects
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support press, partner, and sponsor needs involving talent
  • Build and maintain professional, trusted relationships with on-air talent and partners
  • Balance talent advocacy with production, editorial, and commercial requirements
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and delivery-focused team cultureAssist with audience experience on show days, including check-in, queue management, and guest flow.
