Associate Staff Engineer, ERP Workday Extend Developer

TLDR

Design and support Workday Extend applications while collaborating with stakeholders to create effective technical solutions in Agile development environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Total Experience 4+ years 
  • Strong hands-on experience in Workday Extend development.
  • Strong experience with: Workday Extend, Workday Reporting, EIBs, Workday Studio integrations.
  • Knowledge of C# is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of Workday integration and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong experience in troubleshooting and supporting Extend applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, maintain, and support Workday Extend applications.
  • Manage end-to-end Extend development including configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Extend technical solutions.
  • Develop and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and reporting.
  • Ensure Workday Extend applications and integrations align with organizational business requirements and IT strategy.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Workday Extend applications and integrations.
  • Stay up to date with Workday Extend features, releases, and best practices.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure Extend solutions align with overall IT architecture

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
