The Associate Solutions Architect (SA) is responsible for technically supporting company products and services in an assigned territory. The Associate SA works closely with the Account Executives (AEs), Account Managers, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), partners, consulting team, technical support, and various corporate key contributors.  The Associate SA will take direction from the senior SA within their vertical and work together on strategy and approach for engaging with prospects. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Support the vertical sales team in a technical pre-sales capacity per industry vertical.   
  • Meet with clients and prospects in a pre-sales capacity (technical discovery) to understand their challenges and needs.  
  • Provide general and customized demos to highlight Jama’s capabilities. 
  • Support customers through guided trials to ensure Jama Connect meets their success criteria. 
  • Learn how Jama can support the medical device industry standards (21 CFR 820.30, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304) 
  • Complete RFP/RFIs, security questionnaires, and other required technical responses as part of the sales and renewal process. 
  • Support marketing initiatives as required (blogs, whitepapers, webinars). 
  • Take direction from the pre-sales SA Manager to strategize customized solutions and offerings. 
  • Work with consultants to transition projects from pre-sales to post-sales delivery. 

What You'll Bring: 

  • 1-2  years experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering background in enterprise SaaS or Engineering sales. 
  • 1+ years’ experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, SAFe and other product engineering and delivery methodologies required. 
  • 1+ years’ experience with sales methodology and pipeline management. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Good presentation skills and ability to position a product or solution in client facing conversations. 
  • Ability to “think on your feet” and thoughtfully answer customer questions. 
  • Ability to absorb technical concepts and learn quickly. 
  • Adaptable with a positive attitude and team player. 
  • Comfortable with virtual meetings and ability to build relationships virtually. 
  • Familiar with application lifecycle management offerings and experience working in product development. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience in the Medical and Life Sciences industry. 
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and common test management tools. 
  • Familiarity with APIs and scripting languages like Python. 
  • Experience using AI LLMs. 
  • Able to support Pacific time zone.
