Reporting to the Registrar, the Associate Registrar, Enrolment Management & Systems is responsible for all aspects of admissions for all base programs (full time and part time) as well as all continuing education programs and courses. The Associate Registrar supervises the admissions, student recruitment and systems staff at the Registrar’s Office. This role oversees all systems used in the Registrar’s Office, including but not limited to Student Information System, Timetabling/Scheduling System, E-commerce System, CRM and E-Transcript System.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight of the admission cycle for all base programs, in collaboration with the Admissions Coordinator and admissions officers
  • Oversees the recruitment cycle for all base programs, working closely with the Student Recruitment Coordinator
  • Provides leadership and oversight for all systems and business processes that support the Registrar’s Office, the Michener’s Institute and its student population across both base programs and continuing education
  • Oversees the admission cycle for all Continuing Education programs and courses, in consultation with the CE Leadership Team
  • Provides strategic leadership in recruitment and admission trends
  • Minimum education requirement of Bachelor Degree.
  • Master's degree (especially in higher education or adult education) an asset.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of direct experience with admissions at a post-secondary institution.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience within a post-secondary environment.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Student Information Systems. Strong knowledge of PowerCampus and/or Colleague a strong asset
  • Excellent knowledge of Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) and post-secondary education landscape within Canada and internationally Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, faculty, students and applicants
  • Excellent ability to present complex data and information to senior leadership
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills to work effectively with external stakeholders (such as OCAS)
  • Excellent ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience in using PowerBI and Tableau is an asset.
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and multi-task while adhering to strict timelines
