About the role

We are looking for a motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Platform team. This is a great opportunity to grow technical skills and contribute to OPSWAT’s cybersecurity products.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in developing and maintaining software applications under guidance.
  • Write clear, efficient code and learn best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and support feature development.
  • Participate in code reviews and improve your coding skills based on feedback.
  • Help troubleshoot and debug software issues.
  • Document technical details as needed.
  • Continuously learn and develop your skills with mentorship and hands-on experience.

What We Need from You

  • At least 6 months experience programming with .NET, Python, ReactJS, or basic HTML/CSS.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience using version control tools like Git.
  • Some knowledge of REST APIs and testing concepts.
  • Good problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong curiosity, proactive and positive attitude. 
  • Basic communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge or experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps basics.
  • Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
  • Interest in cybersecurity or related fields.
