What Will You Be Doing?

  • Create accurate project timelines, maintain schedules and adhere to deadlines for HR initiatives and programs.
  • Input and manage project tasks, resource allocations, and workflows within our project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, and Excel.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows, identifying creative solutions, and recommending enhancements.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and develop an efficient organizational system to manage processes, information and communication.
  • Support team activities by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met in alignment with departmental timelines.
  • Provide management, coordination and support for internal and external project events.
  • Assist in coordinating and managing projects from inception to completion, contributing valuable input during strategic planning to ensure a thorough understanding of the project management process.
  • Act as a liaison, coordinating between all the various departments and employees which are at work in a project.
  • Provide timely project status updates and communicates issues that cannot be resolved at lower levels.
  • Identify and/or evaluate, manage, track and resolve issues quickly and report updates to management.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, publications and presentations in the required style, software, and format.
  • Prepare charts, tables, and presentations, ensuring that the graphics and content are correct and create proper impact.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

 

What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Less than 1 year experience in project management or project coordination
  • Willing to take initiative to identify and anticipate improvement opportunities and make recommendations for implementation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision and quickly comprehend and act on changing priorities when necessary.
  • Ability to convey information and concepts in a "user friendly" manner to different skill levels and personalities
  • Possess strong analytic and technical skills.

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects through effective planning and time management.

 

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $32.56 - $38.46 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.

 

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

 

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.

SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
