Overview

 

The Associate Product Manager for Content Optimizer will manage the end-to-end delivery process and contribute to ongoing product development. The role will have an opportunity to use their entire range of skills and interact with analysts, customers, sales, marketing, and development to guide Profitero's approach to delivering predictive analytics solutions to Profitero's customers.

 

This role presents an excellent opportunity to innovate and lead in the eCommerce space as well as gain experience in developing AI driven solutions that save our customers time and money.

 

You are a skilled, data-savvy communicator, with a track record delivering projects on time, looking to grow into a product management function. You need to demonstrate passion about product management and creating innovative solutions that will solve our customers problems using advanced technology (AI and ML).

 

 

Responsibilities:


  • Work across the entire product development life cycle while developing the next generation of the Content Optimizer offering, from scoping, planning and executing the development plan

  • Serve as the primary story writer and owner of the product backlog. Create, prioritize, and clarify User Stories to ensure a steady pipeline of "ready" work for upcoming sprints.

  • Execute the product roadmap to meet client and business needs. Make tough prioritization choices, resolve conflicting dimensions, and find creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Scrum Team and Stakeholders, facilitating user story refinement and ensuring the team builds the right solutions at the right time.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Design, Data Acquisition, and Data Science to define clear priorities and ensure cross-area dependencies are understood.

  • Work with engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs and ensure high-impact features are built effectively.

  • Track and manage dependencies across Profitero’s wider product portfolio to ensure unified value delivery.

  • Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to specify clear priorities, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and build high-impact features

  • Validate the success of new features, reviewing and accepting stories once development and testing are completed.

  • Manage the intake, triage, and prioritization of defects, coordinating directly with engineering for timely fixes.

  • Maintain delivery tracking and visibility of the project pipeline to key stakeholders. Provide regular & transparent status updates to key stakeholders, leadership, and customers.

  • Coordinate delivery and onboarding activities for new clients, working cross-functionally to remove blockers throughout the process.

  • Maintain accurate internal and external documentation within Profitero’s knowledge hub.

 

You’ll have:


  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in software product development

  • Minimum 2 years Project management experience

  • A proven track record for building and delivering SaaS products

  • Past experience with AI and ML an advantage

  • Experience and knowledge working with Agile development teams using Scrum methodology

  • Technical background is a must (analytics, software development, technical support, professional services, data science, Jira, excel, google sheets)

  • Experience in the eCommerce / Commerce area

  • Flexibility to work with our US and EMEA engineering teams
