And this is where you come in… The Associate Producer provides production support to various game teams, assisting with coordination, tracking, and communication across disciplines. Working under the guidance of their managing producer, they help keep development organized and progress visible. As part of the Production team, the Associate Producer maintains task tracking tools, updates schedules, prepares meeting notes, supports sprint and milestone activities, and assists with build tracking and reviews. They help identify blockers, escalate issues appropriately, and support clear communication between team members. This role is focused on learning game production best practices while contributing to a healthy, collaborative, and efficient development environment. This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio. In this role, you can expect to:
  • Support production execution through organization, communication, and coordination.
  • Learn production fundamentals by working closely with Producers to build production skills, while contributing to feature and content delivery.
  • Assist with milestone tracking, schedules, and task management.
  • Log, prioritize, and follow up on risks, bugs, and emergent issues.
  • Prepare documentation, notes, and production reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, reviews, and cross-discipline communication.
  • Support feature teams by tracking dependencies and deliverables.
  • Gather basic player feedback and performance metrics.
  • Assist Producers with pre-production and live operations tasks.
  • Take ownership of small features or workflows over time.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
  • Other production execution duties as required.
  • To be successful in this role, your background includes:
  • Post-Secondary degree in related field.
  • 2+ years of experience on video game products.
  • 2+ years of experience in mobile game development.
  • 2+ years of experience with a variety of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
