Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform across modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, ITOM, ITAM, and especially HAM Pro (Hardware Asset Management Professional).
  • Configure and customize HAM Pro functionalities, including asset lifecycle automation, normalization, reclamation workflows, and reconciliation rules.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external asset management or procurement systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, or MID Server.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Build and maintain UI pages, dashboards, and portals to improve asset visibility and user experience.
  • Develop catalog items, record producers, and flow designer automations to streamline asset request and fulfillment processes.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, platform governance, and compliance with IT Asset Management (ITAM) standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues identified during testing or production support.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, QA engineers, and architects to deliver scalable, efficient ServiceNow solutions.
  • Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and performance optimization, particularly for HAM Pro modules and dependencies.
  • Maintain technical documentation, version control, and deployment pipelines for ServiceNow applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 12 + years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and customization.
  • Proven experience working with ServiceNow ITAM and HAM Pro modules, including configuration of asset normalization, data models, and lifecycle automation.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting (client-side and server-side).
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, including CMDB and asset relationships.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Catalog Client Scripts.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow update sets, source control, and deployment processes.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Additional certifications such as CIS ITAM, HAM, ITSM, or Application Developer.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or optimizing HAM Pro features such as reclamation, normalization, asset workflows, and discovery integration.
  • Experience developing custom scoped applications within ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and alignment with ServiceNow ITAM best practices.
  • Familiarity with AngularJS, Bootstrap, or React for UI customizations and portal development.

Salary Range: $140K-$170K Gross (Base + bonuses) + standard Nagarro Benefits
