Associate Principal Engineer, CRM Salesforce (Consumer Goods Cloud)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Total Experience 9+ years
  • Experience in designing and defining complex Salesforce implementations.
  • Hands-on expertise in Sales Cloud and Consumer Goods Cloud REX.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security, sharing, and visibility.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Flows, and declarative customization.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, SSO, middleware).
  • Hands-on experience with deployment, release management, and CI/CD pipelines using tools like ANT, Metadata API, Jenkins, SVN.
  • Experience in mobile Salesforce solutions and handling large data volumes (LDV).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and lead multi-disciplinary Salesforce teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and enterprise-scale implementations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Writing and reviewing great quality code
  • Design, maintain, and govern the technical architecture of complex Salesforce implementations.
  • Define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and target states, and prepare roadmaps for Salesforce solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions across Salesforce suite products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Consumer Goods Cloud REX.
  • Provide guidance on Salesforce design areas such as: Data Model, Sharing & Visibility, and Security , Out-of-the-box features vs. custom development vs. AppExchange solutions, Integration with backend/third-party systems, Single Sign-On (SSO) and mobile solutions, Handling large data volumes (LDV)
  • Design and architect integrations using Salesforce APIs, REST, SOAP, and middleware solutions.
  • Advise and critique technical solutions involving Lightning Pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Apex classes and triggers.
  • Act as release manager: review and approve configuration and coded items for deployment; hands-on experience with deployment tools like ANT, Metadata API, Jenkins, SVN.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to groom and refine Salesforce product backlogs
  • Review technical solutions and recommend improvements to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide multi-disciplinary Salesforce teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Create prototypes and proofs-of-concept to define requirements and validate design approaches.
  • Supervise configuration, QA, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
  • Coach and motivate team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
