Overview
The Market Research Associate is an essential member of the Client Service Pre-Sales team, working directly with other market research companies as the first point of contact for our established clients. The Associate will review the client’s bid request, prepare and communicate feasibility and costs to the clients. Additionally, the Associate will work closely with the Client Service Delivery team to provide information regarding bids that are commissioned by our client’s.
This person will partner with internal team members, including Sales and the Project Management Teams to ensure we are achieving high client satisfaction. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Determine feasibility and prepare quotes for bid requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Process utilizing excel client target lists for health care professional feasibility estimates.
- Become an expert in our product offerings and pricing structure in order to quickly and efficiently reply to client’s bid requests.
- Ensure that communications with clients are accurate and thorough.
- Ensure timely and accurate transition of all commissioned studies to the project management teams.
- Prepare and communicate a high-level plan to use various targeting and recruitment methods to meet survey quotas.
- Assist Project Management team in resolving recruitment issues by providing targeting suggestions to resolve these issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- 3‐4 years market research experience including bidding or management of survey recruitment.
- Experience in a client facing role, involving quick turnaround of requests
- Ability to work in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience in project management and ability to multi‐task among many different projects at once.
- Must have excellent communication skills via email, phone and in‐person to manage client expectations and clearly communicate feasibility and proposed targeting.
- Ability to problem solve and think creatively to find solutions to recruit desired survey targets.
- Experience with MS‐Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) a must.
- MS‐Access and pivot table experience, a must.
- Bachelors in marketing, market research, statistics, technology or relevant majors.
- Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative market research.
