DUTIES: Responsible for managing the Culinary R&D team with ingredient management, new product development, and existing product optimization. Lead the company's Commercialization team and co-manufacturers to scale up food, working with the company's FSQA team to set quality parameters and specs around each recipe for production facilities to follow, and enabling all necessary testing and validation required for a successful new product launch. Oversee the company's ingredient inventory and work with the Procurement team to receive, record and evaluate the taste, quality, sensory attributes, and nutrition of new ingredients
SALARY: $87,235
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position requires an Master’s in Food Safety and 1 year of experience as Quality Control Technician or Laboratory Assistant. Prior experience must include working with culinary, alcoholic beverage or food safety teams to determine and execute solutions, drive efficiencies and implement quality improvements in response to observed product issues and gaps.
