Location: Birmingham (5 days a week or willingness to relocate)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using Java as the core language.
• Build and optimise backend services and integrations with SQL databases.
• Contribute to projects involving Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Participate in architectural discussions and influence technical decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments.

Tech Stack You’ll Be Using:

• Languages: Java (primary), Python, SQL
• Frameworks & Tools: Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs
• Cloud: AWS
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Collaboration: Git, Jira, Confluence

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 2 - 4 years of professional experience in Java development (core and enterprise-level).
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database design.
• Exposure to Python for scripting or automation tasks.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Ability to work onsite in Birmingham 5 days a week or relocate.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and ability to work in agile teams.
