The Associate, Group FP&A supports the Group Finance function by ensuring stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of finance systems across the region. The team primarily focuses on system maintenance, operational support, and business-as-usual (BAU) activities, while supporting selected enhancement initiatives where required. This role is responsible for ensuring day-to-day smooth performance and functioning of the Workday Adaptive Planning system and liaising with business users for their use cases, and improving the budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of metrics via Workday. The individual will assist the FPA manager in setting up data integration with our operating and ERP systems. There will also be interactions with Workday support and vendors to improve the system setup and roll out system changes. This is a regional-level role that would help to handle issues arising from all 6 countries. The role is expected to be able to make operational and day-to-day decisions and operate fairly independently. In addition to system support, the role will take ownership of monthly investor reporting (MIR) for assigned countries, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent reporting. The individual will also support and coordinate regional budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with local FP&A teams to ensure smooth submissions, data integrity, and alignment. Stakeholders include Management (users of the system), regional and local FPA teams, regional and local finance team, regional BI and data engineering team (for the integration aspect). Job Responsibility :
  • Reporting & Planning:
  • Own and manage regional Monthly Investor Reporting (MIR), ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent submissions across all countries.
  • Coordinate and support regional budgeting and forecasting cycles within Workday, including system setup, templates and submission tracking.
  • Develop and maintain reporting views to enhance visibility of financial and operational metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.

  • Manage & Maintain :
  • Manage stakeholders such as internal (finance, commercial, procurement, engineering, BI) and external (consultants, Workday Support)
  • Support system optimizations and implement system maintenance, including clear communications with stakeholders
  • Train country users in their use and adoption of Workday. Provide necessary assistance so that they can develop their own reports and dashboards.

  • Strategise & Plan:
  • Analyze/understand user requirements and provide solutions. Improve the budgeting and forecasting model, as well as build reports/dashboards to help tighten processes and provide better visibility for metrics tracking. This can be either country-initiated or regional-initiated.
  • To liaise with the consultants (if we do bring them in) on the problems and to bridge the gap between readily-packaged solutions to customized solutions
  • Work on integration projects for finance and ops data with data engineering and business intelligence teams to ensure that Workday can provide visibility on financial and non-financial metrics 
  • Job Requirement:
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in handling / rolling out Workday projects 
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning and setup
  • Some experience in managing IT application projects and implementations
  • Knowledge of other ERP and Finance technologies such as SAP / Oracle / NetSuite / Workday / Salesforce / Metabase /
  • Tableau / data analytics and visualization etc will be advantageous
  • Relevant field in Business IT / Finance Analytics / Technology for Business
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Relevant experience in FP&A: reporting, budgeting, forecasting
