About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager/ Senior Finance Specialist – reporting to join our HQ Finance team based in Taipei.

This role plays a key role in managing overseas subsidiary accounting, cost closing, and budget management, while ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies in a multinational environment.

 

Task of the role

  • Own financial reporting and month-end closing for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and IFRS compliance.
  • Manage cost closing and allocation processes, including accruals and intercompany charges.
  • Support budget planning, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis for overseas entities.
  • Coordinate statutory audits and prepare audit-ready supporting documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting and reporting processes.
  • Lead or support ad hoc finance projects as assigned by the manager.

About you

[Essential]

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4), with exposure to multinational or overseas clients.
  • Solid working knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience in financial reporting.
  • Experience managing or reviewing overseas subsidiary accounting and cross-border financial matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Google Suite is a plus.

[Nice to have]

  • Industry experience in addition to audit firm background.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle).
  • CPA certification.
