SRCTec, LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Electronics Hardware Technician to join our growing team in North Syracuse, N.Y. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) department, performing circuit card production, assembly, and rework operations.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for performing soldering/assembly operations by machine on circuit cards
- Complete soldering operations on complex electrical circuit cards
- Interpret blueprints and/or mechanical drawings and work from assembly instructions or specification documents
- Basic computer skills to access and interpret work instructions and procedures
- Multi-task and adapt to changing job assignments quickly
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of a high school diploma with 3+ years of experience; associate degree preferred
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment
- General computer skills (Word and Excel)
- Proficient use of hand tools and battery-operated tools
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Prior experience with class 1 soldering required
- J-STD-001 Solder Certification preferred
- Prior Experience with SMT Rework/Board Heaters preferred

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $24 to $27/hour. The hourly rate will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
