The Impact You’ll Make

You will help manage the development of the world’s leading tech-enabled drug discovery platform. You will work with peers across the company to grow Recursion’s capabilities in large-scale biological data generation. In particular, you will:

Enable your teams for scale – Our laboratories generate millions of images and insights per week that need to be tracked, transformed and leveraged for drug discovery.
Build experiences and platforms that unlock the power of data to decode biology.
Guide strategy for existing products while also identifying future opportunities.
Multiply a cross-disciplinary team of data scientists, pharmacologists, and engineers.
Plan and coordinate delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives.

The Team You’ll Join

You will be the Product Manager for data generation for ML Insights. This means working with our laboratory systems on our High Throughput System, encompassing many software products including experiment design, request, and tracking, compound and other lab asset management, and capture, transformation and handling of high volume assay data. This team enables science at scale at high quality through massive ML-analytics of human cell morphology readouts using microscopy and large-throughput transcriptomics in multi-well plate format.

Recursion’s Product team translates company-level strategy into specific internal development initiatives and capabilities. We decide what to build and articulate the why, while supporting builders to own the how. We focus our decisions and are held accountable for impact over the longer-term (months to years). The Experience You’ll Need

5+ years experience in software product management, including strategy, planning, prioritizing, building, implementation, and gathering feedback for complex team efforts.
Experience with large scale/ multi-team product delivery and evolving and modernizing existing products.
Experience with domain-driven design and internal products.
Demonstrated success in translating strategy and vision into solutions with a delivery mindset.
Ability to translate between customer needs from chemists, biologists, lab operations, data scientists, and other technical users.
Lifelong learner with a creative, collaborative approach.
Biology or chemistry background is not necessary, but intellectual curiosity is a must!
