About the Role

The Associate Director of Site Solutions  (Hep & Obesity) is responsible for establishing scalable infrastructure for long-term growth in hepatology and obesity. They serve as the network-wide subject matter expert and execution quarterback for these therapeutic areas, sitting in the US Site Operations team and working closely with the Medical team. 

Your work will enable sites in our network to achieve their hepatology and obesity research goals by advising on optimal central operations, performing site evaluations and ensuring the delivery of appropriate site training and support. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Operations single point of accountability for hepatology and obesity trials, preventing duplication of effort and misalignment across teams
  • Act as escalation owner for hep/obesity-specific operational blockers
  • Educate central teams on the differences between Hep/Obesity and GI programs and advise on operational adjustments required to support Hep/Obesity trials
  • Grow site capabilities to expand network of hep/obesity capable sites
  • Standardize MASH site readiness across the network, leading structured readiness assessments for all hep/obesity sites, identifying underperformance risks and coordinating mitigation plans
  • Establish site and staff evaluation norms and performance metrics, partnering with Clinical Learning & Development team to implement a replicable hep/obesity training and assessment framework
  • Own site education strategy, partnering with Clinical Learning & Development team to develop content, including video libraries and FAQ-based micro-training tools
  • Identify cross-site trends impacting screening and enrollment, make recommendations to address underperformance and provide leadership visibility 
  • Own process improvement, identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Own definition and operationalization of hep/obesity metrics, partnering with business operations team to implement and manage  
  • Partner with Alliance Management team to interface with CROs and sponsors when operational clarity is required

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Clinical Research with 5+ years of experience running Hepatology (MASH) trials
  • Knowledgeable about what a site needs to succeed in performing Hep (MASH) trials
  • Demonstrated ability to review protocols and assess challenges / risks to enrollment
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across teams and departments
  • Ability to identify problems, develop and implement solutions
  • Ability to plan for short, medium and long term success 
  • Ability to use data as a tool, identify trends, and draw conclusions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Practices professionalism and integrity in all actions
  • Willingness to travel to sites (30%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Obesity trials
  • Working knowledge of CTMS, eDC and other core research systems
  • Experience working in a healthtech startup

$140,000$170,000 USD
