As Associate Director, Sales - DACH, you will play a pivotal leadership role in scaling our presence across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will own regional revenue performance end-to-end, driving both top-of-funnel pipeline creation and enterprise deal execution across key verticals, with a primary focus on retail.
This is a high-impact role for a commercially driven leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, build a high-performing team, and expand our footprint in one of our most important regions.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Pipeline Ownership
Own the full sales funnel across DACH, including pipeline generation, qualification, and conversion. Drive consistent top-of-funnel activity in partnership with Marketing, SDRs, and Partners, while maintaining strong pipeline coverage to achieve and exceed regional targets.
Go-to-Market Execution
Define and execute the regional go-to-market strategy, identifying priority segments, key accounts, and growth opportunities. Translate strategy into measurable outcomes across pipeline, win rates, and revenue.
Enterprise Sales Leadership
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from early engagement through to close. Maintain a consultative, value-driven approach focused on delivering measurable business impact for customers.
Team Leadership & Development
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team. Set clear expectations around performance, pipeline discipline, and execution, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
Work closely with Marketing, Channel, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services to create and execute integrated account strategies and deliver a seamless customer experience.
Executive Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across customer organisations. Represent the company at key industry events and in executive-level conversations.
Sales Discipline & Forecasting
Maintain rigorous pipeline management, CRM hygiene, and forecast accuracy. Use data-driven insights to improve conversion rates, deal velocity, and overall performance.
Market Expansion
Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across DACH, including new verticals, partnerships, and routes to market.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive sales experience, including experience in a leadership or team lead capacity within the DACH region.
- Strong expertise in B2B enterprise software/SaaS, ideally with exposure to retail.
- Experience working with or supporting geographically distributed teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and data-driven, with experience using CRM and sales forecasting tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and international environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Fluency in English & German is essential
