Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Growth Optimization team across Audience Strategy and Ad Progression, fostering a culture of strong ownership, clear priorities and continuous improvement
  • Own and drive the overall Growth Optimization strategy and set clear objectives focused on improving acquisition efficiency, conversion and marketing ROI
  • Shape and influence the roadmap and priorities of partner teams, including Paid Marketing, Product, Tech and Analytics, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, AdTech and other relevant teams to ensure cohesive strategies and strong business impact across all channels
  • Drive data-based decision making across growth initiatives by reviewing performance results and using insights to adjust priorities and direction
  • Oversee audience strategy, experimentation and ad progression initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of acquisition and conversion performance
  • Ensure strong ownership and clear standards for KPIs, reporting and performance reviews across the Growth Optimization scope
  • Turn learnings from tests, performance analysis and market feedback into clear actions and lasting improvements
  • Ensure the team is building solutions that scale across markets and not only local or short-term optimizations
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, tools and best practices to keep HelloFresh competitive in performance marketing and growth optimization
  • Work closely with Marketing leadership to contribute to the overall marketing strategy and long-term growth direction of the company

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in growth, performance marketing, CRO / Ad Progression, audience, or related roles, preferably in a data-driven or performance-focused environment
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a complex, cross-functional organization
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, acquisition funnels, conversion optimization and how to use data to improve them
  • Very good ability to work with data, Customer Data Platforms, performance metrics and experiments to drive decisions and set priorities
  • Experience working closely with Product, Tech and Analytics teams on shared goals and initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
