This is an exciting new opportunity to join our expanding Crisis and Security Consulting (CSC) team in Paris.

You will be responsible for forming strong partnerships with the CSC Europe management team to drive long term, sustainable growth across all CSC practice areas in Europe.

This is a highly varied role, combining project management, business development, and direct client delivery. It requires commercial and technical knowledge, along with direct relevant experience of delivering across Crisis, Security and Risk disciplines.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Client delivery

  • Delivery, management and coordination of all resilience related consulting tasks, with particular emphasis building sustainable, long term client relationships.
  • Service multiple consultancy assignments concurrently working in collaboration with service line leads to utilise regional resources as necessary.
  • Support the development of innovative consulting products and services that address client need, and that help maintain Control Risks at the forefront of the sector.

Project management

  • Actively participate in achieving financial targets set in France and across all Crisis and Security Consulting (CSC) practice areas, with a specific focus on Spain.
  • Manage and drive the commercial and quality aspects of client projects.
  • Ensure all projects are being delivered on time and in budget.
  • Project and resource planning to maximise utilisation, working closely with EMEA colleagues.
  • Manage and coordinate more junior team members on projects.

Business development

  • Prepare and hold responsibility for client proposals.
  • Become involved in the dynamic account management environment in conjunction with the management team and global Markets & Partner Team colleagues.

Requirements

Experience

  • Successful management of risk and resilience consultancy projects, coupled with an understanding of the requirements for delivering services in global organisations, including in higher risk environment
  • Relevant work experience in crisis management, corporate security, and/or commercial risk management
  • Previous experience in a large consulting company and/or in a large multinational company is important
  • Strong synthesis and visual presentation capacities, leveraging available tools: MS Office, authorised AI tools, etc.
  • Demonstrable depth and breadth of understanding of security and risk management, business resilience, and the dynamics of a consultancy practice
  • Proven experience of successfully working within teams to reach the strategic and operational goals
  • Commercially astute when planning and pricing project in terms of time, resource and outcomes
  • Relevant role of having successfully built effective and strong client relationships

Skillset

  • Master’s degree or advanced diploma in risk management or security related field
  • Full professional proficiency in English and French, Spanish is an advantage
  • Project management skills within a commercial/consulting environment
  • Strong commercial focus (financial management skills, legal and contractual skills) and leadership
  • Good client (both internal & external) management and consulting skills
  • People leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and drive the performance of a team of security professionals
  • Strong interpersonal skills – building trust & rapport
  • Excellent communication skills – written & oral (informal and presentation to board level)
