CG Life is seeking an Associate Director of Analytics to elevate our clients’ data-driven marketing capabilities. This role blends strategic vision with practical expertise and the ability to influence client decisions through data-informed insight.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Strategic Leadership
- Evolve and expand the agency’s data and analytics offerings by integrating insights across all touchpoints in the pharmaceutical marketing ecosystem and advancing capabilities in segmentation, targeting, predictive modeling, and real-world evidence integration.
- Be actively involved in client engagements with internal and external stakeholders, instilling confidence and elevating analytics from tactical execution to strategic advisory.
Client Engagement
- Design and implement measurement frameworks that clearly link marketing initiatives to meaningful business outcomes, including prescription (Rx) lift.
- Lead the development of dashboards, reports, and actionable insights from key marketing data sources (including website engagement, paid media performance, email campaigns, and omnichannel journeys) to inform strategy, optimize execution, and drive continuous improvement.
Growth and Business Development
- Partner with client services teams to drive growth across existing accounts:
- Deepen engagement with clients already leveraging data and analytics to expand scope and impact.
- Identify opportunities to introduce analytics-led solutions to clients not yet utilizing these capabilities.
- Actively support new business development efforts by:
- Contributing to RFP responses, proposal development, and analytics-driven case studies.
- Representing the agency in new business pitches and strategic engagements, positioning data and analytics as a core differentiator.
Team Leadership
- Mentor a high-performing analytics team, continuously elevating capabilities to meet evolving client and market demands.
- Promote a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence in the use of pharmaceutical data assets, analytics tools, and strategic applications.
- Drive continuous improvement across methodologies, platforms, and deliverables, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of data-driven marketing in life sciences.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical data ecosystems and methodologies.
- Expertise in multi-touch attribution and measurement frameworks.
- Experience with data platforms and tools used in pharmaceutical marketing (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience integrating, querying, and validating custom data sources to support advanced analytics and measurement initiatives.
- Ability to tell a compelling story with data and driving client decision making through compelling data insights.
- Strong client communication skills, including the ability to present complex analytical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytics approaches, hypotheses, and measurement plans.
- Comfort working with imperfect, incomplete, or evolving datasets.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams (media, strategy, technology, data engineering) to operationalize analytics solutions
- 7+ years of experience in analytics and data.
- Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding client needs.
- Team mentorship and leadership.
- Ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand services to clients and to participate in the process of new business development.

At CG Life, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 USD and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. At CG Life, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the plan.
