About the position

The Associate DevOps Engineer position assists in the design and implementation of tools, processes, and environments for software delivery. This entry-level role emphasizes learning and supporting automation, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code under the guidance of more senior team members.

The position is based in Stockholm office, follows hybrid work model with excellent flexible working practices. Applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in Sweden.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in building and maintaining infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
  • Support containerization and orchestration tasks under supervision.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Help monitor and maintain system performance and availability.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to infrastructure and deployment.
  • Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using open-source tools.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Some relevant work experience in DevOps or IT infrastructure.
  • In-depth understanding of the industry, company processes, and job-specific methodologies.
  • Fundamental understanding of scripting languages and version control.
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems and software development practices.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication, intermediate proficiency in relevant tools and technologies.
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with containerization concepts and orchestration.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD principles.
  • Ability to work independently, mentor junior team members, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.  #LI-NA1
