Associate Developer (Fresh Graduate)

The Product Maintenance division is dedicated to delivering excellence and reliability in our live products to maximize client satisfaction and solidify long-term strategic partnerships. We are currently looking for passionate and proactive fresh graduates to join our team, pioneer the first batch of Developers who will work in collaboration with the rest of the team to complete tasks and initiatives that focus on increasing the security, performance, quality, and overall reliability of our Core and Integration Products across different business modules. 

As a Developer, your task will:

1. Get onboarded into Avaloq, become certified in developing customizations and configurations for our products
2. Analyze root cause, develop and test thought-out solutions for simple and low priority maintenance tickets
3. Develop and maintain automated tests
4. Review incoming tickets with the Technical Leader and the rest of the team, being assigned to concrete tickets to take over the initial response and follow-through for simple to medium complexity and low priority to non-critical or blocking maintenance tickets

1. University degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent Business degree.
2. University or on-the-job experience developing software applications using SQL, PL/SQL, or Java language
3. Knowledge of relational database systems
4. Eager to learn and understand the business and follow coding standards
5. Analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
6. Excellent communication skills in English

It would be a bonus if you have

1. Basic knowledge of banking and financial industry
2. Oracle or Java certifications
