  • Travel/Location: Remote with some travel to client site in Tallahassee, FL.

Mission of Role/Position Summary:

The Associate Data Analyst will support reporting and analytics initiatives by working with historical data. This role will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, and validating data to ensure it is accurate, structured, and ready for ingestion into Salesforce. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools. Each role at ACDC will have a specific work portfolio based on skills sets and needs.

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze historical data from multiple sources to identify required data points for reporting
  • Clean, validate, and standardize data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare datasets in formats suitable for loading into Salesforce
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues such as duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and data needs
  • Ensure data used in reports is reliable, well-documented, and up to date
  • Support ongoing data audits and documentation of data processes
  • Assist with ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests as needed

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic experience working with datasets and performing data cleaning
  • Familiarity with Salesforce data structures or willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Basic understanding of data validation and quality best practices
  • Ability to follow defined processes and document work clearly
  • Comfortable working with Excel or similar data tools

Expected Hours of Work:

Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 25% travel is expected for this position.
  • Must be willing to travel and deploy to client sites for extended periods of time.

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting or standing for hours at a time.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time if needed.
  • Ability to manipulate up to 15 lbs. repetitively throughout the day and as needed.

Working Environment:

  • All AC Disaster Consulting (ACDC) positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire.
  • If the remote work site locations change, ACDC Human Resources must be made aware, and leadership needs to approve any site changes for business registration and payroll tax purposes.

Requirements

Experience/Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience in addition to the minimum required qualifications).
  • 2+ years experience working in data analytics, information systems or related field.
  • 2+ years experience using Excel, SQL, and other data visualization tools.
  • 1+ years experience in a customer service role.

Experience/Education Preferred:

  • 2+ years experience with Basic SQL
  • 2+ years experience importing or preparing data for CRM systems
  • 2+ years experience understanding of ETL concepts
  • 2+ years of exposure to data governance or data quality standards

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa is required. We are not currently able to employ those located outside of the US.
  • Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment.
