Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for the channel’s on air promotion/ communication thereby ensuring to increase reach/building traffic on new shows and sustaining viewership loyalty on on-air shows.
About the team:
The OAP team works with the Programming & Marketing teams on new and existing shows to create engaging promotion campaigns for new and existing shows thereby building channel viewership.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to generate concepts, show names, scripts, and campaign ideas in alignment with the provided brief
Review content and skillfully edit footage from various sources to craft compelling promos
Foster close collaboration with graphic designers and audio engineers to ensure promo effectiveness, including the design of logos, supers, and graphic elements.
Adapt briefs to align seamlessly with the brand, independently coordinate with relevant departments, and ensure the efficient meeting of all deadlines
To pitch ideas/ treatments for shows basis target audience and insights
To help write promo scripts and choose appropriate music beds
To shoot & edit promos, direct voice over artists, editors, graphics, audio team on promos
Adhering to launch timelines
To work closely with the studio team to ensure thorough understanding of story, characters, and plots
To work closely with the Marketing team to have synchronized on & off-air communication
To work closely with the Research team to understand trends in viewership across channels and translate these into action points for OAP
Skills & Attributes for success:
Writing Scripts for On Air Promotions, Branded Content, AV’s, Short Format Vignettes.
Putting together Ideas into Concepts, Concepts into Presentations.
Ideating and getting GFX and Animation execute
Understands motion graphics
Fair amount of knowledge of the Practical skills working /Studio
Shooting, Directorial and production skills is an added plus
Script knowledge, production knowledge, vfx knowledge
Ability to work with a wide array of people from diverse backgrounds.
Must be able to juggle between multiple projects.
Preferred Education & Experience:
8+ Years in a TV Network, OTT Platform or Agency
Graduate/Postgraduate
Must be able to juggle between multiple projects.
Relevant experience in writing Scripts for On Air Promotions, Branded Content, AV’s, Short Format Vignettes.Proficiency in written and spoken in Marathi language
