Position title: Associate Counsel - Product & Regulatory (Generalist, Mid-Level)
Location: Remote
Reports to: VP, Legal / Deputy General Counsel

About the role

The Product & Regulatory Counsel is a mid-level legal role responsible for providing practical legal guidance across product development, regulatory compliance, and privacy matters on a global scale. You will work at the intersection of product, technology, and law, advising on new features, platform infrastructure, and the regulatory frameworks that govern creator commerce across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a true generalist role. While a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and enforcement risk frameworks is required, the ideal candidate is intellectually curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new areas quickly. As business priorities shift, counsel will be expected to flex across product, privacy, and regulatory matters—developing depth over time while maintaining breadth across the portfolio.

This role is designed for growth. You will be part of a small, collaborative team that includes the Deputy General Counsel of Product, IP, and Regulatory and a seasoned Privacy Program Manager. You will also work cross-functionally within the legal team including supporting regulatory aspects of commercial matters. While you will work largely independently, you will have access to mentorship and support. The successful candidate will not be expected to perform all aspects of the role independently on day one, and will receive support and mentorship. However, you must demonstrate excellent judgment, a strong foundation in legal analysis, and the ability to work with increasing independence over time. The expectation is that within 12 months, this counsel will own the full scope of responsibilities with minimal oversight.
