Role Overview
As an Associate Business Analyst, you'll function at the intersection of business strategy and product development, actively participating in or leading processes to ensure that all standards are met, and quality compliance benchmarks are achieved.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our product portfolio, taking direct ownership in supporting the systematic approach in thoroughly researching, understanding, documenting, and summarizing the relevant rules and regulations issued by authorities.

Your responsibilities will include learning the Paragon application, outlining requirements, steering product development to meet compliance, engaging with clients, while fostering effective collaboration across various departments and teams.

This role necessitates meticulous attention to detail. You'll take the helm in guiding the team through comprehensive review, refinement, and prioritization processes. This ensures that all endeavors are intricately aligned with Paragon’s overarching strategic objectives.

  • Compliance Analysis: Analyze and interpret healthcare regulations, to understand their implications on software systems and business processes.
  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with regulatory experts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather, document, and analyze requirements for regulatory compliance and system functionality. This includes capturing both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain regulatory documentation, including compliance matrices, regulatory impact assessments, and requirement traceability matrices, to ensure alignment with applicable regulations and standards.
  • User Story Definition: Translate regulatory requirements and business needs into clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria. Collaborate with development teams to ensure that user stories are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, leading the facilitation of engagement regarding regulatory compliance initiatives and project progress.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Work closely with QA teams to define test cases and scenarios for regulatory testing. Ensure Paragon meets regulatory requirements through comprehensive testing and validation processes.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on regulatory requirements, compliance best practices, and the importance of regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or other equivalent years of training and industry experience.

 Experience

  • 2-4 years relevant work experience.
  • 1+ years healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • 2+ years practical experience in regulatory related work, processes preferred.
  • A strong desire to own, lead, and manage projects and activities.

Travel Requirements

Possible, may require travel for business needs < 5%.
