Associate Brand Manager, Medicines and Corporate



The Associate Brand Manager will own and deliver day-to-day brand execution across the Scope medicines portfolio and Scope Corporate Brand, translating strategy into high-impact marketing initiatives across the UK & Ireland. They will drive the successful implementation of corporate and product initiatives, ensuring plans are executed effectively and deliver measurable outcomes.

 

Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and agencies, the Medicines and Corporate Associate Brand Manager will execute initiatives across the medicines portfolio to maximise impact and support strategic objectives while helping to drive Scope’s visibility, credibility, and share of voice across professional and industry channels.

 

Reports to the Brand Manager, Medicines and Corporate.



Key Responsibilities


Scope Medicines Portfolio

·       Support the Medicines and Corporate Brand Manager across the medicine’s portfolio, contributing to end-to-end launch and marketing activities. This includes coordinating internal stakeholders, preparing and distributing communications, tracking launch progress and performance, and managing the development, review, and approval of all marketing, promotional, and non-promotional materials to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

·       Collaborate closely with the Ophthalmology team to drive effective marketing and sales initiatives, providing support on campaign execution, insights gathering, and cross-functional alignment to ensure successful implementation across the field team and wider organisation.


Corporate Brand and Communications (External)

·       Execute the Scope Corporate Brand Plan and external communications strategy, as defined by the Medicines and Corporate Brand Manager, ensuring consistent high-quality delivery.

·       Own and maintain comprehensive corporate content calendars, ensuring all communications are strategically planned, on-brand, and aligned across teams, business units, and priority initiatives.

·       Drive the end-to-end ideation, creation, approval, and publication of LinkedIn content, press releases, and trade articles that consistently enhance Scope’s corporate reputation and visibility.

·       Partner proactively with cross-functional stakeholders to uphold a unified brand narrative, ensuring all external communications reflect consistent messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity.

·       Oversee the preparation and submission of award entries (e.g., Supplier of the Year), maintain a comprehensive awards tracker, and coordinate all communications around Scope’s participation in industry events and trade shows including pre-event teasers, live coverage, and post-event social content.

·       Collaborate with media partners to enhance Scope’s share of voice across key UK and Ireland industry publications (e.g., IPN, Eye News, Optician, pharmacy titles), ensuring consistent brand visibility and a strong, credible media presence.

·       Support corporate initiatives such as Scope Connect and the Patient Pillar by coordinating the internal and external rollout of educational and engagement materials through email and LinkedIn.

·       Ensure all corporate materials are compliant, consistent, and aligned to brand and medical guidelines.

 

Planning & Reporting

·       Support long-term corporate planning and reporting by tracking key communications and PR metrics, providing actionable insights to inform strategy.

·       Manage project timelines and budgets with precision to ensure all activities are delivered on schedule and within scope.

·       Support the Medicines and Corporate Brand Manager in identifying and presenting new opportunities to enhance Scope’s corporate visibility.

Qualifications

  • University degree qualification or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. (Required)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, brand, or communications role with 2 years preferred within pharmaceuticals, healthcare or consumer health. (Required)


Specific Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • Strong interest in learning and growth. Proven ability to take on new projects, develop new skills, understand complex information and bring it to life in marketing communications.
  • Strong digital capability, ability to create content (static & video), creative flair to enhance Scope’s external brand.
  • An understanding of ABPI and IPHA Codes of Practice is an advantage.
  • Excellent at developing strong external relationships with key partners and ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and presentation skills with a very strong attention to detail.
  • Proven project management capability; able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • Experience working with external agencies and creative partners.
  • Confident communicator: builds rapport and adapts style to varied audiences.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with LinkedIn campaign management desirable.
  • Proficient with different software including but not limited to Canva, Adobe, Email marketing platforms and approval platforms (eg Vodori/Veeva).
