Associate AI Product Manager

The team

AI Platform Services is a team dedicated to building global AI driven services to the SEEK Group. All the Ads (ATA) is one squad within the AI Platform Services team, and consists of 6-8 Data Scientists and Engineers and 3 AI Product Managers.

You will report to the Principal AI Product Manager who is the Product Lead for All the Ads.

About The Role

The Associate AI Product Managers form the critical connection between Seek’s strategy and customer ambitions, and the possibilities that can be unlocked by AI and data. You will work within multi-functional teams with Data Scientists, Engineers and other specialists, who build AI and data-driven products to solve our most important customer and business problems.

All the Ads (ATA) squad has a large and crucial scope to drive the marketplace flywheel by ensuring we have all the job opportunities on the platform. This serves the core candidate need of seeing All the Ads (ATA). The squad is also responsible for some of the most important data assets and responsible to build deep understanding of our hirers and the marketplace.

This is an exciting and ambiguous space at the heart of Seek and requires strategic and critical thinking that brings together an understanding and appreciation of AI capabilities with the candidate, hirer and marketplace objectives.

As an Associate AI Product Manager, you will play an important role helping to define our product ambition, building and communicating an aligned view of how to solve the problem, and aligning partners to deliver AI driven products. You will be accountable for AI-driven product initiatives delivered to partner product and delivery teams across Seek’s marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

• Understand strategic priorities that influence or depend on All the Ads (ATA) products, ensuring team visibility of strategic priorities across Seek Group, partners and AIPS
• Work with the team to frame and articulate the squad's strategic direction, ambition and roadmap
• Collaborate with partners, AIPS and the squad to set quarterly OKRs
• Support the team to frame problems and trade-offs in a structured way that leads to robust decisions

Partners

• Support the lead PM to frame and align on roadmaps, objectives and key results with partners
• Work with partners to frame opportunities leveraging the capabilities of All the Ads (ATA) products
• Coordinate squad engagement with partner teams to define, build and integrate new products and services, including service contracts.

Product ownership

• Own an AI product and/or discrete product initiatives
• Define measures of success for products and services, track progress and identify improvement opportunities
• Coordinate experiments – defining objectives, interpreting results and agreeing on implications
• Understand Responsible AI principles, frameworks and responsibilities

Team facilitation

• Coordinate and support team processes, rituals, and stakeholder updates
• Identify and help manage dependencies on other AIPS squads or partner teams

Qualifications Skills and Experiences

• Strong problem-solving abilities with experience tackling complex and ambiguous challenges using data-driven approaches
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with partners, internal stakeholders, and technical teams
• Ability to inspire and collaborate with technical teams by building deep understanding of problem domains and contributing to solution design
• Proactive mindset with willingness to break through constraints and take hands-on approach when needed
• Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform decision-making
• Strong learning orientation with enthusiasm for developing expertise in Strategy, AI and Software Engineering
