Role Overview

The Assistant Regional Manager – Driver Operations is responsible for owning and scaling driver operations across EU and US, while providing strong remote operational support to on-ground teams (where applicable). This role plays a critical part in ensuring supply–demand balance, operational efficiency, driver satisfaction, and process excellence at scale. You will lead people, processes, and performance—driving clarity through KPIs, eliminating inefficiencies, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve faster, more reliable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Driver Operations (Fleet Operations + Planning Operations)

  • Own and continuously review driver operations processes across EU and US cities, covering both driver and planning operations
  • Ensure effective supply–demand planning to meet operational requirements across markets
  • Identify inefficiencies and eliminate redundant processes to keep operations lean and scalable

People & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5–10 driver operations team members
  • Define clear KPIs for each role and review performance on a regular cadence
  • Measure individual and team performance and communicate outcomes clearly and constructively
  • Conduct regular coaching, feedback, and development conversations
  • Build an engaged, high-accountability team culture with open communication

Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, tech, support, and finance teams to design and refine driver operations processes
  • Contribute to operational strategy for EU and US markets, balancing growth, cost, and driver experience
  • Develop a strong understanding of regional goals, priorities, and constraints
  • Lead or support driver programs focused on retention, engagement, and operational efficiency

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in operations roles within fast-paced, tech-oriented companies
  • Strong people management experience, with prior responsibility for managing at least 5–10 team members
  • Experience across operations and strategy, with the ability to move between execution and planning
  • Prior exposure to contact center, voice-based operations, or Global Capability Center (GCC) environments (preferred)
  • Proven ability to operate in high-growth, ambiguous environments with strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical capability with Google Sheets and/or MS Excel (intermediate to advanced)

Work Schedule

  • 9-hour shift (8 working hours + 1-hour break)
  • 5 days a week (2 rotational week-offs)
