Jiostar India Private Limited, a leading entertainment conglomerate, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst specializing in social media video analytics. This role will be instrumental in extracting actionable insights from YouTube and Facebook video data, contributing to strategic decision-making processes, and enhancing our digital video performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analytics tools, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, India.     Key Responsibilities:  Data Collection and Processing: Develop and implement robust data collection methodologies for YouTube and Facebook video content. Extract, clean, and preprocess video/asset level data to ensure accuracy and reliability.   Data Analysis and Interpretation: Perform in-depth analysis of video performance metrics, including views, engagement, reach, and audience demographics. Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data to provide actionable insights. Conduct A/B testing and cohort analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of different content strategies.   Reporting and Visualization: Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders. Develop automated reporting systems to streamline the dissemination of analytics reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.   Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of YouTube and Facebook video content in real-time viz-a-viz JioHotstar analytics. Identify opportunities for optimization and recommend strategies to enhance engagement and viewership. Track KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of content initiatives and marketing campaigns.   Competitive Analysis: Conduct benchmarking studies to compare Jiostar's social media video performance against industry peers. Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.   Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices in data governance. Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to maintain data integrity and security.   Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Media, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 3+ Years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the media or entertainment industry. Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly YouTube and Facebook, and their analytics tools [YouTube Analytics, YouTube CMS Analytics & Meta Business Suite]. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio is optional. Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis will be a good plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams.
