ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

You will be the overall in-charge of the shift, responsible for all production plants. You need to closely work with each production plant to ensure that the production operations are smoothly executing according to set plans meeting quality, compliance and customer requirements. 

The responsibilities include monitoring production operations in all plants, driving shift teams to achieve shift production targets, people management and resolving priority requirements to meet customer delivery commitments, coordinating with relevant divisional heads about all priorities and focus areas, coordinating with maintenance and quality departments to ensure the smooth operation of production processes across all production plants. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  1. Make sure all safety, health and environment compliance are followed by shift teams during production operations.

  2. Ensure that all resources are being allocated in each production plant to achieve desired outputs meeting delivery commitments.

  3. Make sure the targeted outputs in all plants are achieved consistently according to the set plans. 

  4. Ensure quality systems, compliance requirements and the relevant SOPs are followed and take corrective/preventive actions as and when required.

  5. Ensure the quality standards are meeting the according to the requirements

  6. Identify issues and suggest improvements to reduce rejects, waste and work with operations teams in driving operational initiatives

  7. Ensure that properly engaging with shop floor teams, motivate and guide them to drive for higher performance

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

  1. A degree in Production/Manufacturing Engineering/NDT or equivalent

  2. At least 5 years experience in the field of manufacturing/operations.

  3. Very good leadership, Interpersonal, Communication skills 

  4. Demonstrated success in people management to drive performance 

  5. Sound knowledge, skills and exposure in quality and productivity improvement tools and techniques
