Assistant Manager - Legal (Contracts & Advisory)

What You Will Do:

  • Provide legal support to accelerate and support company strategy
  • Able to autonomously manage communication with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Deliver, manage and support contractual and advisory matters
  • Review acquiring agreements, payment aggregation agreements, referral agreements, technology contracts and vendor contracts
  • Provide legal and strategic advice to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation on relevant subjects to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Draft, negotiate and advise on complex agreements, templates and forms
  • Identify and implement processes and policy improvements
  • Maintain and increase awareness about existing & proposed regulatory requirements along  with industry best practices
  • Analyse legal framework, prepare notes/opinions/memos
  • Review existing/new products and mitigate legal risk

What You Will Need:

  • 3-6 years of post-qualification work experience
  • Strong experience in end-to-end contract lifecycle management & end-to-end product review
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong execution experience
  • Proficient in communication and drafting in English
  • Strong foundation in legal research and analysis
  • Enthusiastic about evaluating the legal implications of emerging fintech products
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Banking laws and Fintech-related regulations
  • Skilled in using MS Office and related software tools
