The Associate will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events such as conferences, trade shows, and special occasions.   • Conference Tracking: Develop excel of contacts for events and conference. Manage cold calls individually with communication with manager.
  • Lead Generation: Attend conferences and generate leads. Help with partnership opportunities. Help with exhibitor acquisitions for IESA events. Communicate with internal teams to understand from where business can be generated.
  • Develop and Execute Event Plans: Create and implement event plans aligned with company goals and objectives to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Manage Event Logistics: Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including selecting venues, coordinating catering, arranging transportation, and ensuring security measures are in place.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to ensure the seamless delivery of services and materials required for the event.
  • Budget Management: Control the event budget by tracking expenses and ensuring that costs remain within the allocated budget.
  • Evaluate and Improve: Assess the success of each event, gather feedback, and provide recommendations for future improvements. Work with IT team to see that every event is properly showcased and all posters are properly posted on social media
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in event management, emphasizing operations, logistics, and vendor coordination
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Word fluency
  • Experience of the energy sector is a big plus
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of event management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
